Ampicillin vs Streptomycin

AmpicillinAmpicillin StreptomycinStreptomycin
Ampicillin is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. It is a penicillin-type antibiotic. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. It will not work for viral infections (e.g., common cold, flu). Unnecessary use or overuse of any antibiotic can lead to its decreased effectiveness. This medication is used with other medications to treat active tuberculosis (TB) infection if you cannot take other drugs for TB or if you have a type of TB that cannot be treated with other drugs (drug-resistant TB). Streptomycin belongs to a class of drugs known as aminoglycoside antibiotics. It works by killing the organisms that cause the infection. This drug may also be used to treat other serious infections (e.g., Mycobacterium avium complex-MAC, tularemia, endocarditis, plague) along with other medications.

I have been urinating more often and having the urge to go more at night. It makes me feel dehydrated and my lips would chapped more often. My urine has a strong smell to it. However, it has reduce some of my acne! I like that though. Other than that I will be back at the clinic again for my urine check!

This medicine works, but when your pregant and all you want to do is eat, it's hard to get it in 4 times in one day with the eating restrictions. I usually only managed to fit it in my day 3 times.
