I was not aware that I was allergic to this med and have had a red rash around my torso for 6 days and does not seem to be any better. Have seen my Family MD and am taking Hydroxyz tab 25mg to stop the itiching and hives associated with the injecjection of cefazolin iv. have had many types of antibotics but have never had yhis type of reaction. Would recommend another type of pre surgery antibotic if possible

14 days after I had been on this medicine, I got the worst allergic reaction of my life. My entire bod has broken out in a bright red rash, and after 3 days it is still spreading after I have discontinued the drug.
