I've been on this med for a little over a year. I'm very satisfied with it. It puts me to sleep at night, it keeps me calm during the day. At first I did feel sleepy but about after a week I felt fine.

GEODON HAS BEEN A GOOD DRUG. HOWEVER , IT IS IMPORTANT TO MAKE SURE YOUR HEART IS TOLERATING THIS MEDICINE AS IT CAN BE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. KEEP UP WITH YOUR DOCTORS TAKE AN E.K.G. IF POSSIBLE. I TOLERATE MUCH BETTER AFTER TAKING A LOWER DOSE. A GOOD DRUG. BE CAREFUL.

For me, this med was a disaster. It was prescribed for me initially by a pill pushing shrink who made a snap judgement that I was bipolar II after my wife filed for divorce and I asked for help. I had been on and off anti-depressants for years, usually after failed relationships. It made things worse, not better, and I ended up in and out of the psych ward six times over the next three years, a ...
