This medicine worked well for me for 6 years, then 1 night I almost died from the Lisinopril. I contracted angioedema. Imeddiately was put in ICU and almost had to have a trach done. Now I can never take any medicines with Pril at the end.

2mg/day kept my BP less than 140/90. After few years I have some side effects: tendon pain/inflamation (Achile, plantar fascitis, tennis elbow). When I stop taking it the pain goes away, but the BP goes up.

My BP is just fine with this...BUT...I am calling the doctor to switch away from this due to the nagging cough I have. (About 6 months now...)

After taking perinopril erbumine 1 pill a day, my heart beat is becoming faster and faster. I have irritating throat and cough. sometimes I have some headache too. I was told that the drug would cause some trouble to my kidney. I would like to know how does it affect my kidney?
